sensational damage, but as you gaze out over the township, you can smell the
bodies burning and you know the casualty count will probably be high.  You
shake your head and kick a fallen brick, mindful that an aftershock could
occur at @X0Fany moment @X02and send the rest of that sagging wall right
down on top of you.

        @X0FYou know your first order of business is to search and rescue,
even though you are trained as a seismologist.  @X02You hope you can recall
your CPR training and resuscitation techniques.  It's gonna be a long,
sweaty afternoon.  A shot rings out and you scramble to safety, remembering
the constant threat of looters.
